How does TotSafe's
home childproofing service work?
TotSafe offers home baby-proofing services to parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers. Services include:

In-home, room-by-room evaluation by our professional childproofers, including a thorough babyproofing checklist,
discussion of child safety concerns and suggestions, product consultation and
selection.

The in-home consultation and product selection generally takes about 2 hours.
There is a flat rate, non-refundable fee for this service.

Once we have completed the in-home consultation, and you approve the product selections, we can generally schedule the
product installation 3-5 days later. Installations
can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours (depending on home
size) and may be scheduled over several days. At the
time of installation, a TotSafe babyproofer will also
offer product training to all caregivers in the
household. There is an hourly fee for this service
as well as the retail cost of all products installed.

If you are handy with tools, you can
choose to have TotSafe deliver your products to your door
for you to do-it-yourself.

Totsafe services suburbs in southeast Michigan (Oakland,
Macomb and parts of Wayne
County). Please call if you are out of the area,
sometimes we are able to accommodate a larger service area
for an extra fee.
