Why join the Totsafe Affiliate Program?  

The Totsafe Affiliate Program is a great way to help keep kids safe and earn money, too.  Anyone with a website can join.   It's fast, easy, and free.

How do I join?

• Simply read and agree to our Affiliate Program Rules.

• Open an Affiliate Account with our online application.

How does it work?

• Create and post links to any Totsafe.com page ending in .asp using your affiliate id.   For the referral to work, the link must point to a page that ends in .asp.  

To create a link to our CATEGORIES PAGE that shows all Totsafe categories:
http://www.totsafe.com/categories.asp?PARTNER=myaffiliateid

To create a link to one of our PRODUCT DETAIL pages:
http://www.totsafe.com/proddetail.asp?prod=5540&PARTNER=myaffiliateid

• be sure to change the product ID number.  In the example above, the product ID is 5540.  To point the link to another product's details, simply change the product ID number and add your affiliate ID.

To create a link to one of our CATEGORIES (Like Gates):
http://www.totsafe.com/categories.asp?cat=8&PARTNER=myaffiliateid

• change the category number to the category that you want the link to point to.  This example points to the category 8, which is Gates.  Simply change the number to point to our different categories:

**be sure to replace "myaffiliateid" with your actual Totsafe Affiliate ID.

You are also welcome to use product photos, logos, etc. as long as you host them on your server and keep the original size.  An example could look like this:

• A 30 day cookie means that if someone visits Totsafe through an appropriate affiliate link one day and buys on another, the partner will earn the commission as long as 30 days haven't passed since their first visit.

• Log in to the Affiliates center to check your sales or receive email notification of sales.

What are the Affiliate Rules?

• You must place one or more affiliate links on your site to generate affiliate sales.
• Spamming is not permitted under any circumstance.
• You may use our product photos, logos, etc. but they must be stored on your server and used at the correct size.
• Payments are made quarterly via PayPal.
• You may not frame our site or claim it to be anything other than totsafe.com.
• You may not claim to be a Totsafe staff member, employee, etc.

Do I earn commission on all sales generated by my visitors?

You will earn commission on all sales generated by your visitors when they visit Totsafe through approved links.  Commissions will not be earned if:

• The transaction is completed offline, i.e. customer calls to complete the order over the phone.
• The transaction is generated by a link that is not tracked with an appropriate affiliate ID.

I don't have a website, can I still become an affiliate?

You can sign up to become an affiliate, but you won't be able to earn any commissions unless you have a website with affiliate links.

What is a charge back?

A charge back happens when a customer either cancels a paid order or returns items from the order.  

How often can I view my commission report?

Your commission report is available at any time, as often as you wish.

When will I get paid?

Payments are made quarterly via PayPal.  Payments are made on the 1st of the month (or next business day) of April, July, October & on the last business day of the year.
